What can I do for you?
Since 2002, I have been professionally contributing to environments like a CA university, timekeeping software company, and manufacturing companies with DOD contracts. There will be a time when you want to add more functionality or update a system within your business or organization. When this happens, you have nothing to lose by contacting me so I can show you how I can help.
Have you ever wondered about the feasibility and fiscal possibility of custom programming for your organization?
Whether you can visualize an entire solution, need to update a few things, or have some ideas to raise efficiency, I can work with you to accomplish the goals.
Why is the development at a pro bono rate with no cost to you?
I admit that pro bono work sounds too good to be true and hope this provides a little clarification. I do this for a living, I enjoy doing it, and I am passionate about it. What I get out of the agreement is the opportunity to experience the challenge of working on a problem in your environment. Many opportunities are common or similar at a high level but have an uniqueness in the details and specifics. This arrangement has the win-win scenario where you benefit from my experience and I benefit from working with different people on unique issues. This aids me to stay relevant with the ever changing business technology by keeping my skills practiced and current with unique challenges.
What is my development philosophy?
There are three keys I follow for every opportunity:
Honesty is something dishonest people say and honest people do. A good approach to honesty starts with good, transparent communication even when the information is not favorable. In fact, my motto is, "I will tell you what I think and do what you tell me." I only ask you to give me a chance to show you what I can do.
This objective is to create and implement solutions that are straightforward, user-friendly with the functionality to achieve the goal. Simplicity provides a positive impact to your business by decreasing the amount of training and effort needed. Technology which is easy to learn and easy to use becomes a tool your people will want to use repeatedly.
Such deliverables are determined to gain functionality and enhance your project at each update without having to wait for everything to be completed before seeing returns the time you invest. The flexibility and control will provide opportunities to review the project’s original scope and allow for adjustments during development to match your current needs thereby reducing the stress of thinking of everything up front.
